    Course objectives:

    Highway and sewer system design using Civil 3D program

    Course manner:

    • Course duration is 30 hours spread across 15 days.
    • Required manual, workbooks and CD will be provided for  the participants.
    • By the end of the course participants will be certified with certifications approved by (Kurdistan Regional Government – Engineers Union – and View Group Institute ).
    • Participants must have their own computers.
    • The course will be presented in the Kurdish language.

    Course content:

    • Program installation.
    • Transferring data from (Excel program) to (Civil 3D) program.
    • Drawing contour lines in ( 3D topography) form.
    • Determining the amount of ( Cut & Fill) for buildings, and playgrounds.
    • Creating alignments for highways, and streets, natural profile, and natural cross section.
    • Determining the amount of Cutting and Filling using (Volume table) method.
    • Differences between roads located in small cities and those located in rural areas.
    • Placing manholes on profiles.
    • Placing manholes on Alignments,
    • Design of the distance between manholes.
    • Checking of design.
    • Collecting data of the last line of each station.
    • Transferring data of a surveyed highway to Civil 3D program to determine the amount of ( Cut & Fill).
